Health Guarantee & Sales Agreement

Health Guarantee:

C6 Labrador Retrievers guarantees the puppy to be in good health and free of genetic and congenital defects that interfere with his/her ability to lead a normal life. The puppy will be current on all vaccines and worming as suggested by C6 Labrador Retriever's practicing veterinarian and the Buyer will be provided with those records at pickup. This health guarantee is valid for the first 2 years of the puppy's life. The Buyer MUST have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian of his/her choice for general health within 3 business days from the date of delivery and proof of the exam shall be sent to the Seller within 48 hours of the exam or this health guarantee will be immediately voided. If the puppy does not pass a general health exam due to a genetic or congenital defect that is interfering with the puppy’s ability to lead a normal life, the Buyer agrees to notify the Seller within 24 hours and provide a copy of this signed licensed veterinary statement within 48 hours of the exam. The puppy must be returned to the seller within 5 business days from the diagnosis. The Seller will replace the puppy with one of equal value as soon as one is available. Should the dog develop a genetic/congenital defect that interferes with his/her ability to lead a normal life at any time within this 2 year time frame, proof of the defect must be provided to the Seller by a registered veterinarian of the buyer’s choice within 48 hours of the diagnosis. The Seller will get a second opinion with their veterinarian. If the Seller’s veterinarian agrees with diagnosis of the puppy it will be replaced with another puppy of equal value as soon as one is available. The Seller cannot guarantee the color of the replacement puppy. The Buyer must return their puppy to the seller within 5 business days from the second opinion. However, if the Buyer chooses to keep the puppy/dog the Seller will reimburse fair and reasonable documented veterinary expenses to remedy the condition up to 50% of the original purchase price of the puppy. Please note that this is the only instance the Seller agrees to reimburse veterinary expenses. All other health/veterinarian expenses are the sole responsibility of the Buyer. Under no circumstances will the Seller accept any liability for communicable diseases/parasites including but not limited to parvovirus, canine distemper, canine influenza, Bordetella, coccidiosis, fleas, mites, giardia, worms of any kind, Lyme disease, or leptospirosis.

Defects can happen regardless of parent’s health and health screenings. With that being said, please note that the following conditions are NOT covered by the health guarantee as they are common issues/ailments for dogs: under bite, over bite, erectile dysfunction, recessed vulva, hooded vulva, undescended testicles, cherry eye, umbilical hernia, cataracts, food allergies, environmental allergies, dermatitis, sensitive skin, arthritis, entropion, ectropion, loose stool/bladder, vomiting, bladder/kidney infection, or organ prolapse.
